MPT’s Swe Thahar plan reaches 10 million subscribers

With a total of 16 million mobile active users,MPT confirms its leadership in Myanmar

Yangon, Myanmar, 23 October, 2015 – Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT), the first telecommunications operator in Myanmar, today announced that their Swe Thahar plan has reached 10 million subscribers. With the largest client base of over 16 million active users, the company confirms its status as the leading telecommunications company in the country. To thank its loyal customers, MPT will reward the 10,000,000th Swe Thahar subscriber.

Initially launched in January 12, 2015, Swe Thahar is a comprehensive plan offering voice, SMS and Internet at more affordable rates for all GSM/WCDMA users.
