(Extending Support to Thousands Across Myanmar Communities through 2025 CSR Initiatives)

(Yangon, 25^th March 2026) – As local telecom operator in Myanmar, MPT is actively supporting local communities through its CSR efforts primarily to Education, Healthcare, and Nationwide Sustainability Initiatives within the country. This financial year, MPT demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility through wide-ranging initiatives supporting local communities through practical health and education programs. By combining its digital technology with the active participation of its employees, MPT continues to contribute to social development across the country.

Strengthening Community Health and Awareness

A primary focus for MPT this year was expanding the accessibility of healthcare services by integrating digital solutions with traditional community support. By combining immediate emergency consultations, digital health education, and long-standing volunteer efforts, MPT aims to provide a comprehensive support system that addresses both urgent medical needs and long-term public health awareness across Myanmar.

Free 24/7 Telehealth Hotline – 2025

In collaboration with Pun Hlaing Hospital, MPT supported a free 24/7 Telehealth Hotline –from May 2025 with the aim of providing immediate medical consultations for individuals in earthquake-affected regions.

Access Health Education Videos in MPT’s LoTaYa Portal Through MPT4U App

To enhance public health awareness, MPT has been providing free health education videos on its own channels and partners’ social media platforms starting from September 2023. In collaboration with renowned hospitals, Ar Yu International Hospital and Pun Hlaing Hospital, these physician-led discussions offer guidance on common diseases and prevention, ensuring vital health knowledge is available to all MPT customers.

All MPT customers can access these educational videos free of data charges at Health Education Icon  through  MPT4U App.

Nationwide Blood Donation Activities

On the ground, MPT’s tradition of volunteerism continued with its 16^th, 17^th, and 18^th nationwide donation activities. To date, MPT has contributed nearly 9,600 life-saving blood bags through its collective blood donation efforts, demonstrating MPT’s continued dedication to addressing critical healthcare needs in Myanmar.

Empowering Youth through Learning and Literature

MPT’s educational initiatives focus on bridging the digital divide by providing underprivileged youth with accessible, high-quality learning resources. By leveraging its network to host diverse vocational content, MPT aims to create sustainable growth opportunities for students across Myanmar.

MPT’s CSR E-Learning Program

Launched in 2023, this free online platform was developed in collaboration with renowned partners to empower the next generation. Currently, MPT collaborates with seven partners to offer over 100 course contents, with more than 4,000 students enrolled to date.

Nationwide Community & Environmental Impact

Beyond its digital services, MPT is committed to fostering a sustainable and culturally vibrant environment through collective grassroots action. By mobilizing its workforce and local volunteers, MPT continues to support nationwide initiatives that enhance the physical surroundings and promote a culture of literacy across Myanmar.

Nationwide Tree Planting Activity

MPT concluded its ‘MPT Green Movement’ nationwide tree-planting campaign across 14 States and Regions in June 2025. Over 700 participants, including dedicated MPT employees and enthusiastic community volunteers, joined together to plant more than 1,400 saplings. This initiative aims to support local communities by providing shade, improving air quality, and contributing to long-term environmental conservation.

Nationwide Book Donation Activity

In Commemoration of Writers’ Day, MPT successfully conducted its first Nationwide Book Donation across 13 States and Regions through generous book donations from MPT employees on 20^th November 2025. In total, nearly 4,000 books were donated to respective receiving libraries across 13 States and Regions, with the aim of fostering reading habits and encouraging youth engagement with literature.

Responsive Disaster Support

MPT and its employees also mobilized to provide essential aid following the earthquakes in Mar 2025. Through a collective effort, the team delivered basic necessities—including food, clothing, and medicine—along with financial support to affected communities and staff members. These contributions, worth nearly 100 million Kyats, were provided in April 2025 reflect MPT’s ongoing dedication to standing by the community during times of need.

Through these diverse initiatives, MPT continues to prove that its “MPT- Holding Hands Together with Myanmar People” commitment, MPT is actively conducting its CSR efforts based on its three main pillars: health, education, and business incubation, whileoffering excellent telecommunication services that meet customers’ requirements nationwide.
