(Yangon, 13^th September 2024) _Due to continuous heavy rain since the beginning of September, some areas in Shan State (East, South, and North), Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, Mandalay Region, and Magway Region have been experiencing telecom service disruptions starting from September 10^th .

MPT is working as quickly as possible to restore services to normal. In the meantime, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, MPT is offering 700 on-net minutes and 700 SMS with a 7-day validity to customers in the affected regions to ensure they stay connected during this challenging period.
