MPT Organizes “TeamFit: Unite & Move” Walking and Zumba Activities Nationwide for Employee Well-being
(Yangon, 15th December 2025)- MPT successfully organized its December “TeamFit: Unite & Move” Walking and Zumba activities, bringing together employees and their families to promote unity, well-being, and an active lifestyle. Over 900 nationwide employees and their family members joined the energizing walking and Zumba session.
In addition to the walking and Zumba session taking place at Kandawgyi Nature Park, Yangon, on 13th December, employees across States and Regions also organized collective walking activities throughout December, reinforcing the spirit of togetherness nationwide. Their enthusiastic participation highlights MPT’s commitment to building a healthy, motivated, and active workforce.
Introduced in 2023, the “TeamFit: Unite & Move” initiative includes a variety of activities such as Zumba, Yoga, Walking, and Futsal tournaments. These activities aim to support the holistic well-being of employees by encouraging regular movement, positive energy, and improved physical and mental health.
Walking offers an easy yet powerful form of exercise that strengthens cardiovascular health, improves bone strength, and reduces stress. Zumba, on the other hand, provides a high-energy full-body workout that boosts coordination, flexibility, and overall fitness.
Mr. Hiroyuki OKAI, Advisor to COO of MPTJO expressed that, “We remain committed to fostering employee motivation and supporting their holistic well-being. Through the ‘TeamFit: Unite & Move’ initiative, we continue to organize activities such as Walking, Zumba, Yoga, and Futsal to help employees recharge and stay active. We truly appreciate the strong participation from our teams nationwide and invite all employees to join more exciting activities in the future.”
MPT will continue to expand the “TeamFit: Unite & Move” initiative to promote healthy habits, teamwork, and a balanced lifestyle among employees—ultimately contributing to stronger organizational performance and improved service delivery for customers across Myanmar.
