(Yangon, 22^nd January 2026) – MPT successfully conducted 2025 Nationwide Field Visit Program for nearly 500 students from 16 Technological Universities across 9 States and Regions Offices from September 2025 to January 2026. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Ministry of Transport and Communication (MOTC), this program was initiated in 2018 with the aims of providing insights into the practical application of academic theory and the technologies currently utilized within the professional workplace. To date there are over 2,800 students nationwide benefited by this initiative.

MPT provided comprehensive technical training/ field visits to a total of 473 students across the country, bridging the gap between theory and practice. The program hosted 162 second, third, and fourth-year students at the Network Center and Telenor Training Center in Yangon, while an additional 311 students participated at various regional offices. Participants gained valuable hands-on experience in critical fields, including IP Networking, FTTH Maintenance, and MSAN/Exchange technologies.

Mr. Hiroyuki OKAI, Advisor to COO of MPTJO expressed that “since 2018, MPT has been dedicated to youth development through Nationwide Field visit program. The program facilitated bridging the gap between academic theory and technical practices, benefiting over 2,800 students from Technological Universities across Myanmar. This year as well, we continually provided training on essential technical practices to nearly 500 students nationwide. We believe that this initiative not only provides students with vital industry exposure but also ensures they are fully ‘work-ready’ as they transition into their professional careers.”
