NGN (Next Generation Network) System Connected to MSAN Exchanges Will Be Upgraded To vIMS (Virtual IP Multimedia Subsystem) Advanced System

(Yangon, 23rd September 2024) – MPT announced today that, to enhance quality and provide better services, the NGN (Next Generation Network) System connected to MSAN exchanges in Yangon Region will be upgraded with the Virtual IP Multimedia Subsystem. Therefore, customers may experience temporary telephone service disruptions (for about 20 minutes) during system upgrading per the assigned dates, as detailed in the table below. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.
