MPT confirmed that one employee has tested positive for COVID-19 from Magway MPT Own Shop in Magway Region.

We have already taken proper action such as tracing of the closed contacts people to these infected patients and completed the disinfection in relative office. From the initial stage of COVID-19 in Myanmar, MPT is continuing all the rigorous precautionary measures protocols to ensure health and safety of all our customers and employees.

With the new cases of COVID-19 is increased in recent days MPT wish every people of Myanmar to keep safe and support each other in fight against COVID-19 and to follow the health guideline strictly in order to stop the spreading.

To prioritize the safety and interest of our customers and business partners at the right timing, MPT will make announcement focusing on those cases which could relate to the public, customers and business partners from now on for the timely precaution to our customers nationwide.”

We also promise to keep operating the telecommunication service which is the important lifeline of Myanmar people even under this hard situation of COVID-19.
