MPT sponsors “Myanmar National Symphony Orchestra Concert 2016

[:en](Yangon, January 14, 2016) – “Myanmar National Symphony Orchestra Concert 2016” is going to be held at the National Theatre of Yangon at 18:30 on January 22, 2016 and at MICC 2 Nay Pyi Taw at 18:30 hour on January 25, 2016.

This event is organized by The Embassy of Japan in Myanmar and OZ Music Ltd. Japanese conductors are sharing classical knowledge and experience with promising talent across Asia and they are investing time and energy in orchestra in Myanmar too. And their goal is to help make classical music more popular in the future.

Conductor Yunosuke Yamamoto, pianist Yosuke Yamashita and Kyoko Koyama, the members of OZ Music Ltd give lessons to Myanmar’s Yangon-based National Symphony Orchestra. The program for this year is Beethoven Symphony N.2, The Godfather, Pirates of the Caribbean, Shar Pone Daw Min Thar Gyi and others.

They have started technical workshops since 2014 for Myanmar National Symphony orchestra and hold a concert every year around January to show its outcome and MPT sponsors for this activity as good will gesture of MPT since Japanese make knowledge transfer to Myanmar people which is very good cooperation.
