MPT Regularly Organizes 7th “TeamFit: Unite & Move” Yoga Initiative to Promote Employee Well-being
(Yangon, 24th July 2026)– MPT continues to strengthen its commitment to employee well-being by regularly organizing wellness activities that encourage a healthy lifestyle and work-life balance. Today, MPT successfully hosted its 7th “TeamFit: Unite & Move” Yoga Initiative as a nationwide hybrid event, bringing together over 350 employees from across the country. While the session was anchored in person by around 50 participants at the MPT Training Center in Pazundaung Township, Yangon, the initiative seamlessly connected more than 300 employees from various states and regions who joined virtually through online platforms.
The regular yoga initiative provides employees of all fitness levels with an opportunity to improve both their physical and mental well-being through guided yoga practice. By encouraging mindfulness, reducing stress, and promoting healthy habits, the program reflects MPT’s ongoing commitment to creating a healthier and more engaged workplace.
“We are delighted to successfully organize our 7th “TeamFit: Unite & Move” Yoga Initiative, with more than 350 employees participating both in person and online. Following the successful 3rd “TeamFit: Unite & Move” Futsal Tournament held earlier this month, this regular yoga initiative further demonstrates our commitment to promoting employee health and well-being through a variety of wellness activities. It is encouraging to see the growing enthusiasm and participation of our employees since the very first yoga session. We hope this initiative continues to inspire our employees to embrace a healthier lifestyle, achieve better work-life balance, and maintain both physical and mental wellness” said Mr. Hiroyuki OKAI, Advisor to the COO of MPTJO.
One of the regular participants, Ma Khine May Zin from Bago Region (East), shared her experience: “I have participated in MPT’s Yoga Initiative since the very first session and have continued joining every program through today’s 7th initiative. Starting from the basic lessons has helped me better understand the value of yoga and its positive impact on both my physical and mental well-being. I feel more relaxed, focused, and energetic in my daily life. I am also attending the free online basic yoga classes conducted by Instructor Wutt Yee to further improve my practice. I sincerely appreciate MPT and Instructor Wutt Yee for providing this meaningful opportunity that supports our journey toward a healthier and happier work-life balance.”
As part of its TeamFit: Unite & Move employee engagement program, MPT will continue organizing regular wellness and sports initiatives that encourage employees to stay active, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen teamwork while fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.
