After Postpaid to Prepaid changing complete, MPT will manage customers’ Prepaid balance i.e. we will deduct Prepaid’s balance in case the paid advance payment cannot cover the pending bill. In case there is remaning amount from the advance payment after the pending invoice settled, we wiill transfer the remaining amount into Prepaid balance for that customer.

Sim Validity
1. Does MPT SIM have an expiration date?
- MPT SIMs have an expiration date. SIM card must be registered after purchasing. After registration, Customers have to make the first call/SMS/ USSD or by topping-up to activate the SIM card within 180 days.
- Customers have to top-up within 60 days to continue using their SIM.
If a top-up is not made within 60 days, the SIM card will move to “One-Way Block Stage”, where customers can only receive incoming calls. All outgoing calls, SMS, Data and all Chargeable Services will not be available.
Customers can top-up within 30 days to re-activate it.
If a top-up is not made within 30 days, the SIM card will be moved to “Two-Way Block Stage”, where both incoming and outgoing calls, SMS, Data and all chargeable services will not be available.
- Customers can top-up within 60 days to re-activate it. However, if customer do not make any top-up within 60 days, the SIM card will be fully decommissioned and moved to “Cooling Stage”. Customer have to visit to MPT Own Shop within 60 days to apply for reactivation.
• After exceeding of 60 days, the SIM card will be moved to “Recycle Stage” which will be reallocated to a new customer and the phone number will be disassociated from the SIM card and it will be reassigned to a new customer.

5. What will happen if I do not Top-up for 365 days?
After 365 days , SIM will be blocked and will remain blocked if you do not top-up.
In First 30 Days, SIM will be “One-Way Block Stage”, where customers can only receive incoming calls. All outgoing calls, SMS, Data and all Chargeable Services will not be available.
In next 60 Days, SIM will be moved to “Two-Way Block Stage”, where both incoming and outgoing calls, SMS, Data and all chargeable services will not be available.
