2. What is Sim Registration? When do we need to do Sim Registration?

SIM card registration is a process when purchasing SIM cards from Telecom operators. MPT follows the instructions from the government (PTD: Post & Telecommunications Department). Customers need to register their sims via MPT 4U Application or MPT’s Customer Selfcare Website (care.mpt.com.mm) or visit MPT Own Shop in their relevant township and get assistace for Sim Registration. (Customer need to bring NRC/ Passport original)

3. What is eSIM? How to check my phone is eSIM enable device and what do I need to bring to MPT own shop for changing eSIM?

eSIM is the virtual SIM that embedded in the mobile device without the need for the physical SIM card.
Please dial *#06# and then you will see EID barcode in your phone screen and this SIM is available for e Sim.
When you go to MPT Ownshop, you need to show your NRC/Passport to verify your MPT Sim Card. So, please bring both original and copy of NRIC/Passport. If you don’t have existing MPT Sim Card,choose the desired number and get a new SIM Card. Scan QR and install an eSIM profile on your eSIM phone while your device has connected to the internet. eSIM can be used in nationwide of Myanmar like physical SIM.

4. What is MPT BOGO (1+1) offer Promotion and how can we participate? What is the benefit of promotion and how we can check it?

MPT will bring you a different Buy One Get One (BOGO) Offer that including the naming “BOGO” every week via *555# or in the ‘Special Offer’ section of the MPT4U application. BOGO offers can be Top Up (or) Package.
For BOGO Top Up offer, Top Up amount can be specific (eg., 1K,3K,5K, etc) or undefined (eg; >=1000Ks, >=5000Ks etc). You need to make Top Up via any channel with the amount mentioned in offer after you subscribed to it. For BOGO Package offer, you simply just buy the package. BOGO Top Up offer will be disappeared after you subscribed it and will receive the new BOGO Top Up offer again in next 7 Days. BOGO Package offer will be available every time and will not disappear. 5. I lost my Sim Card, How should I do?

You should go to the MPT Own Shops by bringing orginal & copy of NRC , contract (if you have) and you need to tell 3 recent calls.

6. What is regular and Auto Renewal Packs of Data Carry plus? Who are eligible to buy package?

Regular Data Carry Plus are the special data packages which can be use the data with carryover function (Package quota)– 30 Days validity. Also, can win up to 1000GB Lucky data bonus for any data streaming. There are 2 types of Data Package – Regular Data Carry package and Auto Renewal Data Carry Package.
When a customer purchases autorenewal function and the balance reaches less than 50 MB, these packages will be automatically renewed without the need to choose and buy again. Just like the Regularl Data Carry Plus packages, customers can get Hti Pauk chance, win up to 1000GB lucky data and the unused data balance will be carried forward within 7 days after expiry. If AR user wants to shift to lower value AR Pack, user has to unsubscribe the existing AR pack first as per current AR policy. After un-subscription, they can buy new lower price AR pack.

8. What are MPT Ring Tune Services?

There are 4 types under MPT Ring Tune Service such as RingNote Combo, Note4U, Ring Tune Service and Name Tune Service. RingNote Combo is a special service bundle that gives you access to both Ringtune and Note4U and easily subscribe by sending “COMBO” to 7979 via SMS or Dial*7979*79#. Note4U service allows you to set a specific message for your callers and can display to your callers the set message like your status, without even answering the call. You can get service via Dial *7878# and set your own message. MPT Ringtune service is caller ring back tune service which allows you to select your favourite song and let your callers listen to it. You can activate Ring Tune service via dialing 7979 (or) *7979#. Name Tune is a service that allows the user to add its own name within the greetings in the place of calling ring which is heard by the caller. You can subscribe Name Tune application and purchase at MPT Ringtune webpage https://ringtune.mpt.com.mm/crbt-web-portal/home by searching the name on Search Bar or by calling the MPT call center-106.

9. How can I receive MPT Club points? What is my redemption journey for MPT Services? What do I need to do to redeem MPT Services?

There are 4 ways to collect MPT Club points.
1) MPT points will be added to customers’ wallet daily with the relevant points calculation based on the usage of MPT mobile services. Subscribers will get points based on their member levels and the previous day usage. ( Pay as you go, Packages, Service subscription fees (SDP, IDD and VAS service)).
2) Play Daily Hti Pauk
3) As a reward from promotional campaigns conducted by MPT
4) Purchase MPT Club partner products (or) services

14. How can we get the B2B service?

There are 2 types of B2B service; business fiber internet service and mobile service. In order to apply for commercial fiber internet service, it is necessary to have a company registration (or ) business license (or), if an employee, a certificate of employment. Users must be 2 or more users or 2 SIM cards or more are required.

FTTH users can now easily pay their monthly bills through Top-up cards or prepaid bill balance. If you want to pay, you can do by dialing *258#. If you use this method, the SIM card that must have bill of (3,000) kyats from the time of initial use.
